About Me

[/dropcap]orn and raised in the United States, I journeyed and emigrated to Taiwan in 2014. Life in Taiwan has its ups and downs and it is truly an experience. I am grateful for the opportunities and lifestyle that Taiwan has to offer. The main purpose of moving is to experience something different from life in San Diego where I am from. The move to Taiwan seems very parallel to what my parents experienced when they immigrated to United States in their early 30s. The biggest difference would be the support and era they were experiencing. In today’s world, the digital nomad and the Internet has grown to a point where it is much easier to move and still be connected. I remember stories where my dad moved first to the states and was writing mail letters to my mom which took over a week to get back and forth. Nowadays it is much easier to connect even to those I don’t know as you are reading this right now. Taiwan is a great country to move to, and the lifestyle is quite similar as Taiwan has always been an admirer of American lifestyle, infrastructure, and culture as seen in modern Taiwan cities. The great thing is Taiwan has its own culture and lifestyle identity that of course makes them not a carbon copy of America.
